Charles J. Spiess
Charles J. Spiess is the Head of the Corporate Department.
Mr. Spiess’ practice focuses on commercial and retail real estate transactions, including commercial sales, acquisitions, financing and leasing.
In addition, Mr. Spiess’ practice includes counseling individuals, private equity funds and institutional clients as an outside general counsel in connection with issues related to initial formation and capitalization, day-to-day general corporate matters including drafting licenses, vendor and employment related agreements and organizing, structuring, developing and positioning for venture capital investment, growth through acquisitions and eventual sale.
Mr. Spiess is active in various civic and community endeavors in Greenwich and Stamford. Representative organizations include Kids in Crisis, Greenwich Y.M.C.A. and Stamford Young Artists Philharmonica.
Mr. Spiess was a member of the Cardozo Law Review and graduated from the University of Rochester with honors.
