Bill Durkin is the Managing Partner of the firm and a partner in the Corporate Department.

Bill concentrates his practice in the areas of general corporate law and commercial real estate, and advises clients in mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financings and general corporate matters. Bill also represents owners, lenders and tenants in commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions, sales, financings and leasing.

Bill is a past President of the Fairfield County Bar Association and was a member of the Association's Board of Directors from 1997 through 2008.  He has also served as a member of the Association's Executive Committee and as Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer of the Association and as Co-Chair of its Business Law Committee. Bill is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and its Section on Corporations and other Business Organizations.  He is a member of the American Bar Association, a former Director of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), a former Trustee of the Stamford Symphony and the Darien Library, and currently serves as a Director of the Connecticut Hedge Fund Association and is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Brunswick School in Greenwich, Connecticut.

Bill is the recipient of the 2010 Professionalism Award from the Fairfield County Bar Association.
