Firm Secures Dismissal of New York Lawsuit on Behalf of Connecticut Resident

Jonathan P. Whitcomb and Anthony J. Iaconis successfully achieved early dismissal of a lawsuit brought in New York state court against a Connecticut resident. The court found that the New York forum selection clause contained in the subject employment contract was unenforceable in light of allegations of fraud, and, therefore, the court lacked personal jurisdiction.
